David Snarch has an extensive background in corporate law, with experience in mergers & acquisitions, corporate securities, financing transactions, regulatory matters, litigation, and general corporate and commercial law. David joined MDA Space in April 2016 and has held various positions of increasing responsibility within MDA Space’s Legal team. Prior to joining MDA Space, he was a practising corporate lawyer at a leading Canadian law firm. David received a bachelor of arts degree in international relations from the University of British Columbia and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Ottawa Law School.

James van Wyck has a general in-house legal practice with deep experience in mergers & acquisitions, commercial law, litigation management, and securities and public company governance. James joined MDA Space as Associate General Counsel in April 2024 after having spent several years with another large Canadian public company. Prior to this, he was a practising corporate lawyer in the Toronto office of a large Canadian law firm. James received a bachelor of arts degree in political science from the University of Toronto and a Juris Doctor degree from the Western University Faculty of Law.

Yuvika Johri

Partner

Yuvika Johri is a partner at Neuberger & Partners LLP and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. She holds a Juris Doctor from Emory University and an LLM. in criminal law from the University of Minnesota. Johri has extensive experience defending complex criminal matters, including sexual offences, homicide, domestic violence, and drug-related charges. She has worked with leading defence firms in the United States, served as a legal fellow with the Atlanta Public Defender’s Office, and clerked with the U.S. District Court. A licensed attorney in India, she was also featured by Super Lawyers India. Johri currently serves on the Criminal Law Committee and the New Lawyers Committee of the Toronto Lawyers Association. She is committed to protecting the rights of the accused and delivering strong, strategic defence.
