Called to the bar in 1993, Joseph A. Neuberger has a master’s degree in criminal law and is a Certified Specialist in Criminal Law, a published author, and a dedicated advocate. With decades of experience defending clients facing serious criminal charges, he has earned widespread recognition for his skill and commitment. Joseph Neuberger was voted one of the Top 25 Most Influential Lawyers by Canadian Lawyer magazine and was included in the 2022–2026 editions of The Best Lawyers in Canada for Criminal Defence. Michael Bury

With over 30 years in the legal field, Michael Bury is a dedicated advocate for the wrongfully accused. He holds a bachelor of arts in English and criminology from the University of Toronto, a law degree from Western University, and a master of laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. Michael's practice focuses on sexual assault matters, domestic assault, child pornography, and professional disciplinary hearings.

Yuvika Johri

Partner

Yuvika Johri is a partner at Neuberger & Partners LLP and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2020. She holds a Juris Doctor from Emory University and an LLM. in criminal law from the University of Minnesota. Johri has extensive experience defending complex criminal matters, including sexual offences, homicide, domestic violence, and drug-related charges. She has worked with leading defence firms in the United States, served as a legal fellow with the Atlanta Public Defender’s Office, and clerked with the U.S. District Court. A licensed attorney in India, she was also featured by Super Lawyers India. Johri currently serves on the Criminal Law Committee and the New Lawyers Committee of the Toronto Lawyers Association. She is committed to protecting the rights of the accused and delivering strong, strategic defence.
