Lorne MacLean, KC, is the founder of MacLean Law and one of Canada’s most recognized family lawyers, practising in British Columbia since 1983. A King’s Counsel, Fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, and co-author of the Chambers and Partners Family Law Guide Canada, he is known for complex, high-net-worth, and international family law matters. Lorne has appeared twice before the Supreme Court of Canada in landmark cases, including Young v. Young and Leskun v. Leskun. The Hon. Keith Bracken
Senior Lawyer – Retired
The Hon. Keith Bracken, born and raised in Calgary, joined the RCMP after high school and served nearly nine years, including touring with the RCMP Band and postings in Saskatchewan. He later earned degrees in economics and law from the University of Saskatchewan, was called to the BC Bar in 1977, and practised commercial litigation in Victoria. Appointed to the BC Provincial Court in 1991 and the BC Supreme Court in 2007, he retired in 2018. Keith has taught law, authored legal publications, served as a Deputy Judge in the North, and remains active in outdoor pursuits.
