Jean-François Gagnon is the chief executive officer of Langlois Lawyers and member of the firm’s executive committee and board of directors.
His practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, corporate governance, strategy, crisis management, ethics, and deontology. He has wide-ranging experience in matters involving directors’ and officers’ liability, the management of not-for-profit organizations, construction law, and insurance law.
He also has extensive experience in matters involving professional liability and has acted in matters involving the liability of directors and officers of financial institutions, lawyers, architects, engineers, and professionals in the medical and hospital fields.

She has an impressive record in extraordinary proceedings such as injunctions, mandamus proceedings, and Anton Piller orders. She has also acted in defence in class action proceedings and in constitutional matters that have been pleaded before the Supreme Court of Canada.
In addition to her litigation practice, Sophie assists her clients in managing their business challenges, particularly in the areas of ethics, anti-corruption, and directors’ and officers’ liability. Sophie is chair of the Langlois Lawyers’ board of directors.

She acts to provide advice on marriage contracts and cohabitation agreements, as well as having an active litigation practice in both the court system and in mediation/arbitration. Erin has practiced exclusively in the area of family law since her call to the Ontario bar in 2003.
